Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Meenar Soyantar, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Shri Vidya did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  Abecedare (talk) 03:44, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to Shri Vidya, Sanātanī etc

[edit]

Meenar, can you please slow down on your edits to these and other Hinduism related article, since your edits currently do not follow wikipedia's polices on sourcing, neutral point of view (especially when writing about religious subjects) or the manual of style, and are therefore not really improving the articles. I hate having to revert you repeatedly. It would really help if you would familiarize yourself with wiipedia's policies and writing style. You can also ask for tips by contacting the Wikipedia Teahouse as suggested in the welcome message above. Abecedare (talk) 04:23, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Noq. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Shri Vidya, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please stop re-adding the same material and removing material without providing WP:reliable sources to back up your point. Use the artilce talk page at Talk:Shri Vidya to discuss and argue for the changes you want rather than repeated re-add them against other editors. You are currently edit warring and could be blocked from editing if you continue. noq (talk) 10:27, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Block

[edit]

I have blocked you briefly for vandalising user:Noq and for persistent disruptive edits. When the block expires, I forbid you to do any edits to Shri Vidya, Sanātanī, etc. By all means propose changes to these articles on their talk pages but do not edit them yourself. I ask Noq to warn me if you ignore this instruction and I am liable to re-block you if that happens. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:56, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
