Violence against men

[edit]

I just want to let you know that I've reverted your addition to the Violence against men article as I can't verify that the sources describe it as "violence against men", which would fall under WP:SYNTH. If I made a mistake do let me know. Your contributions are much appreciated however, so feel free to add it to the circumcision article or one that about opposition to it. Happy editing! —Panamitsu (talk) 22:03, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings and respect. Thank you for your kindness. The sources I have mentioned for this post are completely related to it. Both in his article and in his book, Mr. Ahmady considers male circumcision as violence against them. Mr. Gregory J. Boyle also clearly considers circumcision to be violence against humans and a violation of their right to decide about their identity.
In the continuation of the text, I will leave the relevant links so that you can read the sources carefully.
Kameel Ahmady. CULTURAL PATHOLOGY OF MALE CIRCUMCISION IN IRAN: FOCUSING ON CHILDREN’S RIGHTS AND THE RIGHT TO THE BODY
Kameel Ahmadys book: Blade of Tradition in the Name of Religion. p 284
Mr. Gregory J. Boyle's Article: Circumcision of healthy boys: Criminal assault? Mehrshad2020 (talk) 12:51, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for providing these sources to me again. I see that they describe it as "violence against children" (it'd be great if you added your text to an article about violence against children article!), but not specifically "violence against men". We usually want that exact phrase to be used in the sources to prevent any thought about it being original research. Do you know of any sources which specifically say "violence against men"? —Panamitsu (talk) 22:12, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
