Please post any questions you may have about learning to edit Wikipedia on the TALK tab here. Hope to see you on-wiki! -Sara FB (talk) 02:25, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Glad to see you've added a bit about yourself on your home page. Hope you can make it to class in about 40 minutes! -Sara FB (talk) 00:14, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Jacob Strader

[edit]

Melisse, I'm impressed with the work you've done on your draft for the Jacob Strader. I did a little research, looking for old news articles that could be used for additional sources, as well as old photos and drawings that might be in the public domain and therefore available for upload to Commons. I see you already uploaded an image to Commons back in March, which is great! Do you need help adding it to the article? (Note, I left you another note on your user talk page on Commons.) Anyway, here are a few links that you may find helpful: [1] [2] [3]

I don't remember if you were in this week's lab session, but if not, you may want to watch the archived version; we covered some techniques for searching out old news articles. Good luck, and let us know (ideally on our course talk page) if you have further questions! -Pete (talk) 18:56, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Quick note: I fixed the image and left an explanation in the edit-summary. :) –Quiddity (talk) 19:23, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Melisse May. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Jacob Strader (steamboat)".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jacob Strader (steamboat)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 02:00, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
