I have unblocked your IP in response to your email, unfortunately a serious vandal is opperating from your IP address. The address has been blocked multiple times, and if the vandalism persists is likely to be again. I realise that isn't your fault, but there is little you can do about it. If this is a school server, then you might wish to bring it to the attention of the person responsible for your network. If I can help, please let me know. --Doc ask? 17:14, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Bird's Eye View of HAEC Campus.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bird's Eye View of HAEC Campus.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:05, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove {{no source}} and {{no license}} templates without stating the copyright holder of the image, and its copyright status. If you remove image speedy deletion templates again, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Kimchi.sg 11:03, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I sounded harsh above.

If the photos Image:Bird's Eye View of HAEC Campus.jpg and Image:Hockerill Anglo European College.GIF were indeed taken by you, please add a copyright template from this list onto the image description pages. Regards, Kimchi.sg 01:12, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Hockerill Anglo European College.GIF)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hockerill Anglo European College.GIF. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 16:48, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: HAEC in German wikipedia[edit]

Hi. Actually the German entry for the College is quite good! I don't think it needs much improvement! BTW: I'm not at Hockerill and never have been, I'm at Richmond upon Thames College in Twickenham, London! Cheers, Johanneshahn 22:29, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Mensuur. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Hockerill Anglo European College.PNG) was found at the following location: User:Mensuur. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 07:58, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Mensuur, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Von Cossel Coat of Arms.PNG) was found at the following location: User:Mensuur. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Please note that it is possible that the image on your page is included vie a template or usebox. In that case, please find a free image for the template or userbox. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 06:35, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've marked this image as a copyright violation. I note that you noted when uploading that the website from which you got is "has no copyright". I think you are wrong in this assertion - we must assume sites are under copyright unless there is explicit evidence to the contrary. --Tagishsimon (talk) 18:44, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Cossel family, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Furbles[edit]

I have nominated Furbles, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Furbles. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Expansion of sections withthin HAEC Page[edit]

Hi Mensurr,

You may have noticed that two of the sections within the HAEC wikipedia page have been tagged as needing development.

These sections are too short/lacking information.

I am pointing this out to you rather than Hockerils own user as it seems that you do more work on the page then they do.

Many thanks for your hard work on wikipedia.

Disambiguation link notification for August 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Paschen von Cossel, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Enlightenment, Antiquity and Pyrmont (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

May 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Shiloh (biblical figure) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:CosselWappenKlein.svg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:CosselWappenKlein.svg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 22:00, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
