December 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm ThePortaller. I noticed that you recently removed content from Nambikwara language without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Please do not touch the Nambikwara language page. I will be editing it with my project partner for an ongoing Brazilian indigenous language course at the University of Toronto and it will be fully updated by midnight. Mercedeseileenvillanueva (talk)

I see, my apologies for blindly reverting it. However, perhaps it would be less intrusive to copy the content into a userspace draft and edit it from there? [WP:BLANK|Blanking content]] on Wikipedia is typically reserved for major violations of copyright or biographies of living persons policy. ThePortaller (talk) 01:05, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I will be updating as I go with an additional colleague, you needn't worry. The page won't be left blank for longer than a day, hence why the Under Construction tag and the editing comment was put up. I'd appreciate your cooperation in leaving this page to our editing, thank you. Mercedeseileenvillanueva (talk)

Alright, I'll leave you to it. Again, my apologies for my earlier misjudgement. Allow me to formally welcome you to the wiki. ThePortaller (talk) 01:12, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the welcome. Mercedeseileenvillanueva (talk)

A barnstar for your efforts[edit]

Thank you Cdjp1 (talk) for the barnstar! I'd also like to point out that I couldn't have done it without my colleague Ternyer who is the co-author of this page. Mercedeseileenvillanueva (talk) 08:31, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
