From FQ

Just to keep things fair... I'll do more on article-writing and AfD than recent changes patrol while you're away. Though I'll still keep an eye out for my watchlist; you know I can't resist reverting vandalism when I see it. -FisherQueen (Talk) 20:23, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I tried. I really did. I haven't touched the 'recent changes' button since you left. I've written a few articles, and participated in AfD discussions, and, yes, reverted vandalism to my watchlist articles. But JFBurton came at me for reasons of his own, and now I'm up to 99 vandalisms. Welcome home, by the way. I hope you had a nice time in Paris. While you were gone...
  • Fuhghettaboutit was promoted to administrator, and there was much rejoicing. Yay.
  • Google added a direct link to Yuri Gagarin from one of their cute illustrated special-occasion logos, with the inevitable results of (a)increased vandalism and (b)lots of pleas to protect the article, which were generally ignored.
  • JFBurton was indefinitely blocked for general asshattery, and promptly unleashed his tiny army of sockpuppets.
  • Judy Wood became the site of one of the longer and funnier recent AfD conversations.
  • Kurt Vonnegut died, and hundreds of people descended to add "so it goes" to the article about him. -FisherQueen (Talk) 15:19, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help

Hey Merope I need your help on the page Chris Dotson Inc.. There is someone deliberately trying to slander Chris Dotson's name with false accusations. He posted that Chris Dotson was brought up on charges of fraud not stating that Chris was never brought to court on these "charges." He also says other things. Help please!! Thank You!

Back! :)

Hi, Merope, it seems you're back... I hope you had a great trip to Paris! How was your trip? I was wondering whether we could start admin coaching soon? Once you're fully active again, of course. Talk to you soon- CattleGirl talk | sign! 09:50, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I caught a bad cold near the end of my vacation that just won't let go. But we can start doing admin coaching soon. I'll have to look over the reading list and think of some things to start with. What kinds of things would you like to learn? -- Merope 13:43, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, that's a shame! I hope you get better soon.
What things would I like to learn? Various things... deleting, blocking, that's two I can thing about at the moment... they're the sort of things I'd be focusing on as an admin, I think. Can you think of other things worth learning? CattleGirl talk | sign! 07:14, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mine Water and the Environment

Hy Merope, any idea when and if the above mentioned article will be back. You asked for a prove that I have the copyright of the text - which I send you - but the article is still missing. Is there anything I can / should do form my side? --C.wolke 13:00, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Foča Camp

Hello Merope. Perhaps you remember the fuss about the Foca Camp "stub" article which you moved to User:HanzoHattori/Foča camp. I think there's enough material there now for it to return to being a proper article. Can you sort that out? I also think it should be given the more explicit title "Foča rape camps" (plural). Thanks for your help/comments. --Opbeith 13:21, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wanna rock!

Thanks for the thoughtful nomination. I've answered the questions & linked my RfA to the main page... — Scientizzle 18:34, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

All right...it worked out pretty well, eh? Thanks again for all your input and help, and for a superb nomination. It's kind of interesting to see all the new buttons! — Scientizzle 19:18, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question

Quick question. I bungled my last attempt to add something to the Wiki, so I want to make sure I do it right this time.

I found some info that would be well-placed at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diesel_generator

It is a safety guide on working with portable diesel generators. It is located here: http://www.uspowerco.com/safety_issues.htm

I thought it would be a valuable resource to add to the Wiki, but it would have to be an external link I think.

What is the right way to add this to the Wiki, so I don't get two seperate negatives tagged onto my Wiki history? Or should I just let it go and not even add it to the Wiki?

In day's past, I had submitted factual corrections, but after my last round, I am a bit uncomfortable in this environment. Thank you for your help and understanding.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by BillPlattOklahoma (talkcontribs).
