August 2012[edit]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Ayran, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Hello, I'm Dr.K.. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Turkey without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. The removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 03:51, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Turkey shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Turkey. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 04:03, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Turkey. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Bbb23 (talk) 00:46, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing your talkpage due to abuse of the unblock process. You may still contest any current block by using the unblock ticket request system, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Bbb23 (talk) 01:41, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I blocked your Talk page access because you twice removed the block notice. I warned you after the first removal, but you insisted. See WP:BLANKING.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:41, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at User talk:Dr.K., you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 04:39, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Courtesy notice[edit]

I have reopened your 3RR edit-warring report. Thank you. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 04:40, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Mertface, since you have returned from your recent block, you have made precisely four edits. The first was to revert material at Turkey, restoring the article to the state you wished it in before you were blocked. The second was a comment at the Turkey Talk page. The last two were to accuse Dr.K. of bullying you and of "personal bias" on his Talk page. As you know from the above notice, Dr.K. has complained at WP:3RRN of your post-block behavior.
First, you don't have to violate the 3-revert rule to be reblocked for edit-warring when you return from a block for edit-warring and recommence reversions. You can be blocked with fewer reverts. Second, don't accuse other editors of bullying or of bias on their Talk pages. If you have a problem with another editor's conduct, you can approach the other editor respectfully and ask them about it, rather than accuse them of anything. In addition, if an editor removes your comment from their Talk page, don't insist by effectively reinserting the same material. In general, an editor controls their own Talk page, and you have no right to insist on editing it.
Thus, your only constructive contribution since returning from your block was the comment on the Turkey Talk page. At this point, I am not going to take any further action against you. However, consider this a warning to behave in a collaborative and policy-compliant manner. For the present, don't make any edits to the Turkey article without first achieving a clear WP:CONSENSUS on the article Talk page for your content position. This is not a permanent prohibition, but, certainly you should abide by it for a while, and particularly with respect to the issue of what kind of power Turkey is, which appears to be the present dispute. Instead, continue discussion (respectfully) on the article Talk page, and if you can't resolve the issue to your satisfaction, there are forums on Wikipedia where you can hopefully resolve your content disputes.--Bbb23 (talk) 11:25, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
