Images

[edit]

When you add images to articles, please be certain that they add something to it and are not duplicative of other images. When replacing images, be positive that the new image is superior to the old image. Adding or replacing images simply because they exist, or because you found them and uploaded them to Commons, is not the point - a Wikipedia article is not essentially a gallery of pictures. The point is for the images to provide information about the subject to our readers. Thanks, BMK (talk) 19:38, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am familiar with the rules, and I have inserted these supplements, because currently only be used motifs from the present. The original square design around the buildings and the facade at that time should also be shown to demonstrate significant changes to this over 100 year old buildings. This is the usual practice. --Metilsteiner (talk) 20:07, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not cram images into articles that are already heavily illustrated. If you think you have a superior illustration, please open a discussion on the Talk page about where to put the image, and what other images may need to be removed to accomodate it. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:46, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bafing River, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mungo Park. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
