Information icon Hello, Mgirl68. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Brian Tarquin, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 20:58, 9 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message on my talk page. Your edits have been reverted by myself and another editor because they have been largely unsourced and non-neutral, verging on promotional. This is often the kind of editing that is done by people with a conflict of interest. Thank you for clarifying that you do not have a conflict of interest. You still need to make sure that any content you add is verified by the inclusion of reliable, independent, published sources and written in neutral language. My advice would also be to make small changes at one time, rather than such larges ones as you have done - these can then be checked and tweaked by other editors and are much less likely to be reverted than when you make such a big change all in one go, where things that might be ok get caught up with things that are definitely not, hence they all get reverted.
