Welcome!

Hello, Mgr.James Horan Decd., and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!  Tikiwont 13:24, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

June 2007[edit]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Cancun. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Feel free to contribute your point of view on talk pages. Cquan (after the beep...) 17:39, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not use talk pages for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article. They are not to be used as a forum or chat room. See here for more information. Thank you.--Tikiwont 16:06, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please also take not that wikipedia is not censored and make sure that your userpage conforms to the userpages guideline. --Tikiwont 16:11, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to use talk pages such as Facesitting for inappropriate discussion, as described here, you may be blocked. Cquan (after the beep...) 01:49, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate commentary/POV edits[edit]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits to articles on Wikipedia. Your recent edits, such as to Scotland and The Twelfth, are inappropriate commentary, unsourced point of view edits and are unnecessarily inflammatory. Wikipedia is not a soapbox. If you continue to make such edits, you will be referred to administrators for appropriate action, which may include blocking from editing Wikipedia. Please read the policies and guidelines of Wikipedia. Cquan (after the beep...) 19:35, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Once again, article talk pages are not the place for general discussion and/or commentary on the subject, but are for discussion for improving the article. Going around calling things evil and the devil's work, etc is not constructive discussion for improving Wikipedia. Please stop. On the same subject, your lovely messages on my talk page have lost their amusement. Please keep your preaching to yourself. Thanks. Cquan (after the beep...) 18:46, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

and for good measure:

This is your last warning. If you continue to use talk pages such as Talk:Babe (film) for inappropriate discussions you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Cquan (after the beep...) 18:48, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I have a slightly thicker skin than that...I'm neither offended nor angered...perhaps a tad annoyed, but that's my normal disposition anyway. In any case, I hope it is very clear now that the way you have been conducting yourself on Wikipedia is not appropriate in light of the policies and guidelines we have as a community. You obviously have a lot of strong beliefs and opinions, which you may want to consider expressing on a blog or other personal web site. Please be mindful in the future of the edits you make here. Thanks. Cquan (after the beep...) 04:31, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think your preaching is more suited to the pulpit than the encyclopedia. Djp27 13:06, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
