Relevance of small predominantly US derby associations in Roller Derby[edit]

Thank you for your enthusiastic edits to include MADE, OSDA, etc., in the governance section of the article Roller Derby. So far you have not provided citations for these associations, nor have you clarified why they are notable for the article, whose editors by consensus have determined that they should not be included. You're cordially invited to join the discussion on the talk page -- maybe you'll be the person to clarify the issue and build consensus for their inclusion. Without discussion, however, your continuing edits are disruptive. I heartily encourage you to discuss the matter with your fellow editors! --Nemonoman (talk) 18:13, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I will cite these. These organizations were featured on rollerderyinsidetrack.com, a trademarked publication, in a round up of the top derby associations. As a member of one of these organizations, I can attest to their size and scope. It is damaging for roller derby in general, to continue with this biased summary of the sport.Tthese organizations are relevant as they are the only co-ed, or all male associations in the U.S.--miamoe2010 (talk) 14:23, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Roller Derby discussion for a fuller explanation of my recent edits to the section, which use the Inside Track articles as refs that WFTDA is not the only game in town. The specific associations are in my opinion being given undue weight by being called out individually in the Roller Derby article. I think you might have better luck including them in Roller Derby in the United States.--Nemonoman (talk) 21:06, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
