Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... Hello, I tried to add an infobox to this page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florian_Froehlich) I want use the data on wikidata but only some are shown(image, website, place of birth).

How can I repair this problem? Thanks in advance Mich7774777 (talk) 17:27, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

{{Infobox person/Wikidata}} only shows fields for which there is a reference in Wikidata. Why the "occupation" field isn't shown I don't know, so I'll leave this open. ■ ∃ Madeline ⇔ ∃ Part of me ; 21:15, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Maddy from Celeste and Mich7774777: it looks like it's only items which are sourced but not from Wikipedia which are returned by default. That then raises the question about the website field, but it looks like the template overrides that check for three fields: image, signature, and website (search the source of Template:Infobox_person/Wikidata for "onlysourced").
Thus, the way to fix the issue is to either define the fields locally instead of on Wikidata, or provide sources for the claims on Wikidata. stwalkerster (talk) 23:48, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello.
If only the informations sourced but not from wikipedia are shown, why gender isn't shown?
How can I source the info in wikidata?

Property:P21 isn't included in the list of parameters the infobox imports. See the box to the right side of Template:Infobox person/Wikidata for the list of properties that infobox pulls. As to how to reference it in Wikidata, I don't know. There does seem to be a nice "+ add reference" button next to each property, and a help page at Help:Sources, but I'd advise asking on Wikidata itself for help about Wikidata. stwalkerster (talk) 18:23, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
