Hi Michael, I noticed you placed a bunch of image copyright problem notices on User:JarlaxleArtemis's talk page. For future reference, it's probably best to combine large numbers of notices into one, to avoid flooding of the user's talk page. Jarlaxle doesn't need to see the full text of the notice for each image, just the list of images affected and one copy of the notice. =) Thanks! Powers 11:13, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What's going on?

[edit]

What do you mean my images are causing copyright problems? That never happened at the time when i uploaded them?

By the way, you got two of the images wrong, i've never uploaded doppleganger or Draconomicon.

Pece Kocovski 02:59, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for the misattribution. I was cutting-and-pasting names to keep track of who uploaded what, and must have pasted a couple under the wrong name.
I'm not sure what you mean by "never happened at the time I uploaded them". Images can be reviewed for copyright issues at any time, not just when they're added. - Michael Bauser 15:08, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was the one who uploaded Image:Pseudodragon72 med.jpg and Draconomicon. I fixed Draconomicon so it can stay and added a note to Image:Pseudodragon72 med.jpg saying feel free to delete it. --Peregrinefisher 03:54, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Star Riders, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --Slowking Man 03:15, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Pandemonium-RPG.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Pandemonium-RPG.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 14:28, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:MachoWomenWithGuns -BTRC-1989.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:MachoWomenWithGuns -BTRC-1989.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 14:38, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:AmazingEngineSystemGuide.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:AmazingEngineSystemGuide.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 01:12, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
