This is a great list that I found to be very useful. I noticed a few counties have their centroid over a body of water, which in most cases is probably not desirable. In case this was done for some purpose I have not edited the actual list but am instead leaving this note.

  • MI, Keweenaw - This one is understandable, as the county includes both the tip of the Keweenaw peninsula and Isle Royale National Park, putting the centroid in Lake Superior. When most people talk of the county though they mean the portion on the peninsula.
  • MI, Mason
  • MI, Oceana
  • WI, Ozaukee
