Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Zoo City may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. A tag has been placed on Cybathlon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. JMHamo (talk) 15:22, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

One WTC

Hi Michaelmas1957. On your user page, the section My most-edited pages lists China as a good article and Canada is a featured article. Just wanted to let you know that One World Trade Center, which you made over 600 contribs to, is a GA now. Great work on the article, and thanks for your work to help it become a good article. Thanks, and good work yourself! – Michaelmas1957 (talk) 05:28, 1 May 2014 (UTC)

December 2014

Hello, I'm Doniago. I wanted to let you know that I undid your recent edits to the V for Vendetta (film) plot summary because they added a significant amount of unneeded detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- DonIago (talk) 15:47, 22 December 2014 (UTC)

Fair enough, I'll keep those guidelines in mind in future. – Michaelmas1957 (talk) 16:46, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
Thanks! If you feel there's a legitimate case for disregarding the guidelines for a given article you're welcome to ask the question at the article's Talk page. I don't think exceptions are generally made (usually editors seem to think conforming to the guideline is possible), but it does happen on occasion; anyway, no harm in asking!
