Helpme Request

i created a new page about an artist titled G5(aka Golden Child). I was just wondering why when i type that title into the search bar does this page nt come up? am i missing something?

As it appears, there is already an article on "Goldinchild", so it's possible it was recommended for what is called "speedy delete". I cannot find any article named G5. Its possible you forgot to redirect it to your article. I would recommend looking at your "contributions" tab at the top and finding the article via that. Then search for G5. As it appears, there is a disambiguation page for "G5" and so you will need to add a Level 2 Headline called "Famous People", or something to that effect, and add the link to the tile of the page, PRECISELY, including all capitals and spaces, etc. If you have any questions, you can contact me here, on my talk page. No, I believe the problem is you named your article G5 (aka. Golden Child), with a period. I suggest you move it to G5 (rapper) which follows wikipedia naming convention. There are a bunch of letter-number cominations that come up on a search for G5, so it's possible that it's simply buried at the bottom of the pile. It appears that either an image or something to that effect was removed. In the future, to upload images, see the tutorial. it was removed as spam. Let me see what I can do to fix your article. Cheers, Curran (talk)

Regarding your article on G5

It was deleted because it was in violation of the copyright of myspace.com. Thus, since it was copied and pasted directly form myspace, it was in direct violation of colpyright. It was recommended for speedy delete by an admin, and I have no control over them. I did try to rewrite it in my own words in time, however, it was deleted before I could complete the process. Yes-- it was deleted by an administrator because the content was pasted directly from myspace.com, thus putting it in direct copyright violation :( . I tried to hold them off, and retype it in MY own words, but when I was done and clicked save, it had already been deleted. I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do except tell you to recreate it, making sure to put it into your own words. In additon, this time, create the article as either, G5 (rapper) or Golden Child (rapper), none of that "aka" stuff, because under the Wikipedia naming convention, those would be appropriate. Also, make sure to post links on the G5 and Golden Child disambiguation pages, as well as to redirect the new article from your old link (the one that said G5 (aka. Golden Child).
