Welcome![edit]

Hello, Midwich Cuckoo! Thank you so much for coming to the first meeting of the Wiki working group - I have a good feeling about this...

Now that we've created your userpage and learned the basics, I hope that you'll stay logged in and have a go at editing some articles. If you're not feeling bold enough to write an article straight away, why not try a small edit first, or adding a link? (You could of course join the fine and Noble people of the Guild of Copy Editors...) Don't worry about being perfect, Wiki is a constantly evolving entity. Fortunately there's a whole team of editors just like you who can help.

Welcome! Now have some cake...

You can't break Wikipedia, but in case you're still nervous here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Remember, if you are writing on a talk page, please sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. See you soon!

Oh and...[edit]

A couple of things I thought might interest you...

To keep up to date about Wikimedia events happening throughout Scotland, to learn more about ScotWiki projects, or to publicise your own ScotWiki event or project, join the ScotWiki Mailing List!

To help tackle the gender gap on Wiki, you could join the Gender Gap Task Force, or the Gender Gap mailing list!

Kimball & Morton[edit]

Hello lovely! Was over on your new article (yeay!) doing a few bits & pieces & I noticed that your reference links aren't working - can you take a look and see what's up? Happy to help fix your references & stuff, but need to know what link I should be using :) Hope all's well! Lirazelf (talk) 08:27, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Kimball & Morton Links[edit]

Hi, Thanks so much Lirazelf! I THINK I've fixed the links now. I have no idea what was wrong. Let me know if not though! Midwich_Cuckoo (talk) 16:15, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Kimball and Morton of Glasgow[edit]

Hello, Midwich Cuckoo,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Kimball and Morton of Glasgow should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kimball and Morton of Glasgow .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Variation 25.2 (talk) 17:34, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
