regarding Pony Posse[edit]

The article Pony Posse has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a person or group of persons but it does not indicate how or why that person or group is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Cool (aesthetic)[edit]

Or something spelt like that...You sent a message to my IP account, (I apparently forgot to log in) that I had changed something on the "Cool" page...Unless it was my brother which is highly unlikely, I don't think it was I who changed it, as I have never visited that page on Wikipedia. And this edit appears under a page Stillwater Area High School. What cool has anything to do with it, I'm not sure. Hi. I'm assuming your IP address is 71.215.253.129 - if not, I'm afraid I don't know what the above relates to. I don't know what you might have written about Stillwater Area High School, but if you check the history of Cool (aesthetic), someone at your address made two changes on 26 June (both about some bloke called Ryan Aldridge). Oh well I've never heard that name in my life. I highly doubt that that's my IP because I've seen my IP before and I remember that being shorter. Anyways thanks for clearing it up, hope the glitch or mixup or whatever doesn't happen again.

No problem. It must be your IP though, or how would you have read the message about Cool? I didn't post it on this page. It might be worth checking who's been using your PC, or doing a virus scan for Trojan Horses and stuff (though I don't know if that's really a possibility). Stillwater Area High School[edit]

EDIT (Boardndave): Mientkiewicz5508, let's face it: In school activities have far more importance than extra-curricular events. A school's main purpose in operating is to provide education to the students which attend that school. Therefore, categories regarding in-school academia take precedence over athletics and other extra-curricular events such as sports. Now that I have explained myself, I should see no further edits to the location of the Music Program section of Stillwater Area High School page. I suppose I can leave the Theatre program info below the sports section since, while they do have a class dedicated to theatre, they're a bunch of weird kids anyways. Hopefully you can come to a realization that in an article about school, academia takes precedence over athletics. Regarding the music article: While I do not currently have time to commit to completing the rest of the info regarding the music program section (due to AP homework, etc...) I will fill the rest of the section out completely. -You should also note that the Alumni area is reserved for people who have done things above and beyond as ALUMNI. You may want to look at other schools for examples of how to properly use this section.

SAHS (Again)[edit]

Sorry about that... Never had to talk directly to somebody on Wiki. You may be surprised, but there ACTUALLY is a drama class at SAHS, therefore it technically has more importance than sports... I'm not a big fan of drama though, so I could care less where it goes.

First, please familiarise yourself with WP:MOS. Secondly, if someone doesn't warrant a Wikipedia article, why do you insist that she's notable? But an encyclopædia article is not a place to put termcards, etc. — that's been established over many discussions of this sort. A link to the school's website should be enough (such information should be there somewhere).
As for the notability issue: again, if he's not worth an article, then he's not notable enough; if he is worth an article, why not create one? I mean, if it matters enough for you to spend time and energy insisting on including him in this list, why not spend it on creating an article (a reasonable stub that won't qualify for speedy deletion is enough).
I'm not sure what your final comment referred to, but if it's the {{NPOV}} template, I think that it's obvious; the article is full of language more suited to a school magazine than an encyclopædia article, with teams triumphing or dominating, "has long been known for its excellence in music", etc. The tone is also wrong — much too slangy and journalistic. This is an encyclopædia, not your school's yearbook; an article here isn't the place for detailed accounts of the performances of its sports teams. The amount of time that you've spent on it is irrelevant, I'm afraid, as is my being the only person to raise the issue. Looking at the Talk page, I see that very few people have commented at all, in fact — unsurprising, given the subject of the article. You say: "Under your logic, no College Football, Basketball, or any other sports seasons should be detailed on Wikipedia either." It's not "my logic" (whatever that means), and yes, the reasons that I give do certainly apply to articles on all schools.   1. I've explained my edits at each stage — at least with an edit summary, and generally with something more here. I've also given the relevant guidelines; you've yet to explain how you think your material fits what's said in those documents. As soon as I challenged you on that you stopped discussing the issue, but not reverting to your version.
  2. Your article on Chris Engler didn't even say what he did, much less what made him significant. You seem to think that the mention of parochial acronyms is enough; I have no idea what "NBA" means. I assume that it's some sort of U.S. sports organisation, but that's all. Valleyfair Fansite[edit]

Hi... It's generally frowned upon to add your own website to a Wikipedia article. Other fan sites have been removed as linkspam in the past. Generally I'm not opposed to a few popular cites being added to an article. Your site looks great, and I wish you luck with it. But it's only a week or two old and has hardly any content yet. As such, it's going to be hard to call it "the number one fansite", etc. when you have no history to back that up... Thanks for uploading Image:Pony.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
