Hi, as I see, you removed my revert and pasted a new section into my talk page. Well, I always thought that youtube videos are not allowed as links on the Wikipedia. Morgan Katarn (talk) 18:38, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

On your talk page, I explained how you can remove the reference. --Michaelzeng7 (talk - contribs) 18:40, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
Also, I removed the section from your talk page as it was placed in error ;). Best, Mifter Public (talk) 18:41, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

In what way was this edit [1] unconstructive. Everything written was factual. 86.150.65.44 (talk) 17:47, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Hello and Welcome to Wikipedia! Your edit wasn't unconstructive in the slightest, I simply clicked the wrong button when I was using my anti-vandalism tool which is why I reverted my edits about 30 seconds later. Best, Mifter Public (talk) 18:05, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
Been on Wikipedia for quite a while now (any evidence to the contrary is the fault of my ISP). My apologies, as your reversion was a hastily corrected error, I retract any allegations of malfeasance unreservedly. 86.150.65.44 (talk) 18:14, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion contested: Dimensional Transformology

Hello Mifter Public, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Dimensional Transformology, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: G1 is only for nonsense characters. This is actually a G2 (Test Page). You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Electric Catfish 18:06, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi Mifter! Sorry to template you, but I saw that your alternative account tagged a page for speedy deletion as per G1. G1 only applies to patent nonsense such as "shfghwthyr787541ergqerge". This was an odd idea about life, so I replaced your G1 tag with a G2 tag, as it seems to be a test page. Best, Electric Catfish 18:09, 24 July 2012 (UTC).
To add to that - you need to be particularly careful about G1. Although what the user was writing was clearly not suitable, he was understandably offended to see it tagged as "nonsense", and has gone off in a huff. New users often, indeed usually, don't understand what Wikipedia isn't for, but we need to explain gently and not BITE them. JohnCD (talk) 22:15, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

STiki emergency

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Not vandalism for Cape Hatteras

You did reverted my edit in Cape Hatteras saying that it was vandalism. However, my edits has been done by other users (on other wiki pages, numerous IP and normal users add it as the template supports it and does not change the content at all) so it is not vandalism since I did not attempted to add in malicious content or change the numbers. In this case, I think you would had made a mistake in reverting my edits. If you have any concerns about this, feel free to ask so any misunderstandings can be sorted out. Thanks. 64.231.20.56 (talk) 22:32, 8 February 2017 (UTC)

Hello, thank you for your note and Welcome to Wikipedia! After looking more closely at your edit I agree that it was not vandalism and reverting it was an error on my part. When I was reviewing the edit I saw a screen that looks similar to this which only shows "|precipitation colour=green" as your edit. I mistakenly thought you were inserting text that the color of the precipitation in Cape Hatteras was itself colored green, e.g. green rain or snow, which appeared (in isolation) to be vandalism. I did not see that you were merely tweaking a template and making a constructive edit which is in no way vandalism. I apologize for my mistake and hope you have a great day. Best, Mifter (talk) 23:21, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
No problems. At least all the misunderstandings have been sorted out. Thanks for your reply. 64.231.20.56 (talk) 02:01, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
