I have placed a tag on the article Ecthelion(WC), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I did this because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Ecthelion(WC) is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Ecthelion(WC). Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not just remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. –Sommers (Talk) 05:01, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Miguel. I've taken on the above case as mediator. The first thing to do is to try and get hold of the other editor, which is a bit trickier than usual as he's editing anonymously. I've left a note on the talk page of the IP address you've provided, which he seems to use quite consistently. Please tell me if you know of any other IP addresses he's used recently. I'll let you know when/if I manage to establish contact with him and he accepts mediation. --Sam Blanning(talk) 01:24, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't been contacted by the anonymous editor yet, and he doesn't seem to have edited the article for about a week and a half. Perhaps the case should be closed as a stale dispute?

If you'd prefer to keep it open a bit longer, I can try posting a message on Talk:StarCraft Clans to get the anon's attention, but I'm not sure he's still reading it. --Sam Blanning(talk) 09:57, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As the edit war hasn't reoccurred for over two weeks, I've closed the mediation case. --Sam Blanning(talk) 09:48, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your time guys. (Miguel Wonham 03:29, 27 July 2006 (UTC))[reply]
