Responded on your Ben 10 thread where seemed that no one else responded so gave my idea Giggett (talk) 18:45, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

Well we shouldn't have seperate articles for every alien, that's too much, just rename the List of Omnitrix and Ultimatrix aliens article into like Ominitrix and Ultramatrix and then include content about those two watches themselves, and keep all of the alien content into organized list tables, under sub-sections. So in other words, the new Ominitrix and Ultramatrix article will have details about those two watches and the aliens that they contain. Giggett (talk) 18:54, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Omnitrix and Ultimatrix

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Omnitrix and Ultimatrix. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - List of Aliens in Ben 10. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of Aliens in Ben 10 - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. JDDJS (talk) 21:10, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

Wall Street Network

All articles on Wikipedia must be either properly categorized, or tagged for the attention of the categorization project so that they can categorize it. Category:Microsoft stubs does not count as proper categorization, as it's a "stubs" category — it's for Wikipedia maintenance, not for user browsing, which is why the tag explicitly says that the page needs categories in addition to the stub category. The {{uncategorized stub}} tag must remain in place until somebody has added a real content category — and if you remove it again, I'm going to lock the page so that you can't edit it at all. WindSeeker Review

Hello, I just looked at your comment on the article review and you stated that the article is not YET a good status article but looks like a featured article. Featured article is the highest ranking. Is the article good status article, featured article, neither, do you need a second opinion from someone else or are you saying to nominate it for featured article status?--Dom497 (talk) 20:51, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

Can you please read what I wrote in the review.Mike 289 20:53, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
Sorry about that... I now understand. If you need a second opinion shouldn't you post a second opinion template on the article's talk page?--Dom497 (talk) 20:55, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for reviewing the article!!!--Dom497 (talk) 20:43, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

Want to Review?

Hey its me again (Dom497). Just wanted to know if you wanted to review International Street (Canada's Wonderland) for GA status. Let me know if you are interested.--Dom497 (talk) 16:44, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

Please read the nomination discussion page for the article as I left a note that will probably help with the final decision for if the article is a GA or not.--Dom497 (talk) 19:01, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

I responded to your statement on the nomination discussion page.--Dom497 (talk) 23:41, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

Hi Mike. I see you have taken an interest in reviewing good article nominations for amusement parks recently. I have recently nominated WhiteWater World for good article status. If you are interested in reviewing it, I would greatly appreciate it. If not, don't worry; I'll just wait for the normal process to take its course. WhiteWater World

I notice that you "passed" this article without a review. That is not how it works. Please read the instructions at WP:GAN on how to review, also Wikipedia:Reviewing good articles. I have reverted your actions. Jezhotwells (talk) 18:13, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

Going off on that above, while I appreciate your eagerness to help out with GA reviewing, I'm not sure that you're actually looking through all the criteria. Your first reviews were all passes with next to no concerns, which either means you're having great luck picking articles, or more likely, you're not hitting on all the points. Look through WP:WIAGA to get an idea of what to look for, and for future reviews using Template:GATable may be helpful for you. IF you have further questions let me know. International Street (Canada's Wonderland)

I have re-assessed this article and as it clearly fails the criteria, I have delisted it. Jezhotwells (talk) 19:23, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

I have responded to your response therein. Meanwhile, your observation on the vintage of my Talk page seems to be a little contrary to the spirit of the rules adorning your own. Anyway, there's nothing I can do about it: I can't bear to ruin the magical phrase the title letters keep spelling out. Plutonium27 (talk) 18:24, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

Editor Review

I am currently cleaning up the backlog over at Editor Review and I found this in the backlog. As it is no longer posted on the main page at Editor Review, I was wondering if I should remove it from the backlogs and put it to rest or if I should repost it for community review. I will remove it from the backlogs three days from now if I am not given a response.—cyberpower OfflineHappy 2013 22:36, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Contests

User:Dr. Blofeld has created Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/Contests. The idea is to run a series of contests/editathons focusing on each region of Africa. He has spoken to Wikimedia about it and $1000-1500 is possible for prize money. As someone who has previously expressed interest in African topics, would you be interested in contributing to one or assisting draw up core article/missing article lists? He says he's thinking of North Africa for an inaugural one in October. If interested please sign up in the participants section of the Contest page, thanks.♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:33, 21 July 2016 (UTC)

Invite to the African Destubathon

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most geography, wildlife and women articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing, whether it's a river in Malawi, a Nigerian footballer, or a South African civil rights activist, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. For those of you who signed up to the North African contest, that will hopefully be held in the new year. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:11, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

Latin American 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America/The 10,000 Challenge ‎ has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Argentina etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Latin American content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon. If you would like to see this happening for Latin America, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Latin America, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 00:43, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

New deal for page patrollers

Hi Mike28968,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
