Hello Megaman en m. I appreciate the seriousness of the conflict of interest policy, but I have a concern. You deleted my citation of my published review article. That article was one of only two existing literature reviews of prospective studies that examine this topic. My article was peer reviewed and published in a respected journal. There are few individuals who would have the expertise to speak critically about this topic and could cite my article. If I'm an expert on the topic, seems like I ought to be able to cite my own work that's relevant. I'm allowed to edit the Wikipedia article but I'm not allowed to cite the peer-reviewed literature that supports my edits? I believe I was quite modest in how I cited my article. If I don't cite it, who would? It seems like you may have taken the COI policy a bit too far.
