Autobiography

[edit]

Hi, before you edit Mike Mendoza, please be aware of If Wikipedia already has an article about you section under the Wikipedia:Autobiography guidelines. Secondly, do NOT threaten to have anyone banned as it violates Wikipedia:Civility and Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. Please also note that you have no authority to do so. If you would like to report any policy violations of editors to your biography, please do so at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard. Thank you. --  Netsnipe   ►  02:18, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Could you explain why you keep removing the sentence about Shalom FM? From the link [[1]] it appears to be verified. Edit warring is unproductive - please discuss changes on Talk:Mike Mendoza. The rest of the unsourced information I am going to keep out of the article. --Sam Blanning(talk) 01:15, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain on Talk:Mike Mendoza why the source for your being involved in the founding of Shalom FM is inaccurate. If you continue reverting, you will just be reverted back, and nothing will change in the long run. --Sam Blanning(talk) 00:50, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Differences of opinion on Mike Mendoza article

[edit]

Please stop trying to change the article until you've explained yourself on the talk page - Talk:Mike Mendoza. I posted a couple of questions to you there, yesterday, and a couple of suggestions. If you continue to change the article with explaining why, all that is likely to happen is that someone else (including me) is going to change it back, which is somewhat of waste of everyone's time. Thanks. John Broughton | Talk 17:11, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"i am no longer connected in any way with shalom" - the article doesn't say that you are. It says you founded it - nowhere does it imply that you are still connected with it. --Sam Blanning(talk) 00:59, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Mike - please stop editing the article until you've explained yourself - for example, by answering posted questions) at Talk:Mike Mendoza. No one owns the article, per WP:OWN. and Samuel and I just want more information so that we can make sure that the article is accurate. Please help us. Thanks. John Broughton | Talk 02:18, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blanking

3RR Warning

[edit]

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. You can find further details of the policy that limits reversions (in your case, deleting text) at WP:3RR. Please review and comply with that policy. John Broughton | Talk 01:31, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User notice: temporary 3RR block

[edit]

Regarding reversions[2] made on November 23 2006 to Mike Mendoza

[edit]
You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.
The duration of the block is 3 hours.

You appear to be the subject of this article. Please be aware that wiki discourages people from editing their own articles. You are, however, very welcome to contribute to the talk page Talk:Mike_Mendoza where the text you dislike is being discussed. If you were to answer there, you might get a better result

William M. Connolley 19:56, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning.
The next time you blank a page, as you did to Mike Mendoza, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Lijnema 02:04, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As a neutral party, I implore you to discuss your differences with your biography at Talk:Mike Mendoza as previously requested of you instead of reverting the article. If you provide a more detailed explanation of the circumstances surrounding Shalom FM to counter the source provided then the other editors will be more likely to intepret your edits as a correction rather than an attempt to whitewash your own biography. If you violate the Wikipedia:Three-revert rule and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest you will be blocked for longer from editing Wikipedia or even banned. Thank you. --  Netsnipe  ►  16:54, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

BLOCKED

[edit]

Stop I'm sorry that it has come to this, but you have ignored all attempts to be a cooperative editor on Wikipedia so I have been left with no choice but to block you for one week. Unless you express a willingness to abide by our policy on resolving disputes rather than continue to engage in "edit warring" on your own biography which you do not own, you will not be unblocked. Yours sincerely,  Netsnipe  ►  06:26, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
