Hi Mikeblas - just to say thanks for taking the time to review the above for WP Books. I'd had it in the back of my mind to try and improve it toward GA class; you've jogged my memory and I'll take a bash at it in the New Year. Any suggestions/edits to improve it would obviously be gratefully received. Gonzonoir (talk) 16:55, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

It's really in pretty good shape. You might suggest a formal article review for it. -- Mikeblas (talk) 17:19, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

I recently visited this page for the first time, and also felt that the introduction provided insufficient context for understanding why this poem was so controversial. I added some material, but since you left a tag, I was hoping you could leave a comment on the talk page saying more specifically what you had hoped to gather from the introduction and didn't get. I'd like to help improve the article. I'm so familiar with Catullus and this poem in particular, however, that it's hard for me to view it as someone who's looking for a first explanation (as might happen because the first line was in the news in the UK recently). So no need to reply to me individually here or elsewhere; a comment at Talk:Catullus 16‎, if you have time, would be welcome. Cynwolfe (talk) 17:11, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
