Please do not use talk pages such as Empire: Total War for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article. They are not to be used as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. What you happen to think of the subject matter is not relevant; opinion pieces such as that do not belong on Wikipedia, either in articles or on talk pages. -- Sabre (talk) 00:32, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Simply put, that was a rant. Rants aren't allowed. Properly referenced and verifiable information with reliable sources (ie not a forum) are. The actual reviews by the professional journalists don't think the same way you do. While they pick up on the occasional bug, they don't decry the whole game as "obviously rushed out the door while still in an unfinished, bug ridden state" as a beta for their consumers; on the contrary, they have been very positive. Complaints about Steam and company policy are also entirely unsubstantiated, and if put in the article would count as original research and be removed. Ulimately, the talk page is for discussing improvements to the article, not for posting opinions that are written as if a blog. -- Sabre (talk) 10:39, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
