Hello John, Oh my sorry.
So i should publish my articles through whats called user page?
I see its not that information out there on Wikipedia about LED-Mask.
So I was thinking about writing about the general topics LED-Mask can do and add the sources used to make each article.
Sorry im new in Wikipedia so om not sure on where it is correct for me to post or not.
I would like to more or less publish 1 article per landing page, then people can be able to diccuss the topic more within per article. Millernsha (talk) 16:08, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you would like to try to write a new article, please create a draft. You can then work on the draft until you think it is ready to be published, and then request a review through the Articles for Creation process. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:56, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

January 2024[edit]

Information icon Hi Millernsha, I'm MrOllie. Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently made additions to several articles without citing a reliable source. Please note that all content and edits on Wikipedia are expected to be verifiable in reliable sources. In articles related to medical topics, the standard for content and sourcing is defined at WP:MEDRS, and in your edit you did not include any references that meet that ideal. Please have a look at MEDRS to learn about the quality standards for medical sourcing. You might also want to take a look at WikiProject Medicine. If you have any questions related to sourcing of medical issues, you can ask at the WikiProject Medicine Talk page. For general questions about sourcing, see Wikipedia:Reliable sources. MrOllie (talk) 16:18, 3 January 2024 (UTC) MrOllie (talk) 16:18, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, i rewrote the article and made sure it follows the MEDRS guildlines to Wikipedia now.
Can you please check it again and give me feedback if anything needs to be adjusted? Millernsha (talk) 16:41, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Millernsha, I have looked at your rewrite, and have the following comments:
  1. You have provided only one source that could be counted as a WP:MEDRS (this article from the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology), but that article mentions rosacea only once, as an image caption. It does not provide any medically relevant data regarding the efficacy of phototherapy for the treatement of rosacea.
  2. You have continued to rely on the Silkeymk blog to provide anecdotal evidence. As you have noted in the text, anecdotal evidence is generally not useful in evaluating medical treatments, especially when the blog is maintained by the manufacturer of a phototherapy device.
Based on these comments, I have reverted your change. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:04, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the feedback. Okay i think i will wait a bit on editing an area like that until im more confident on how everything workds.
I see Wikipedia dont have any page on Led Mask in general, If i were to write a page on Led Mask would i need to also consider MEDRS atricles as reference? Millernsha (talk) 16:43, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is an article on light therapy which includes mention of its use in treating dermatological conditions. If there are sufficient reliable medical sources, you could add a section on LED masks under Light therapy#Techniques. Since you have previoulsy demonstrated a conflict of interest regarding the Silkemyk company and its products, you should take care not to promote these products in your edits. You may mention that Silkemyk is a manufacturer of such devices, but you may not make any unsourced or poorly sourced claims regarding the quality or efficacy of such products. Your writings indicate that you might have a conflict of interest regarding the Silkemyk company and its products. If this is not the case, I apologize for my assumption, but if it is the case, please take note of the above instructions. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:07, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello i dont have any conflict og interest regarding Silkemyk.
But i am Norwegian and have their LED Mask so i know it works.
What i wanted to learn was how to make wikipedia articles and i wanted to make one about LED Mask.
Because I see its no information about it on Wikipedia. I will start working on it now and see how I will make it. I want to go in the depth on how LED Mask was invented, how led diodes came from research NASA did and more out to commersial usage and what is important to look for when buying a LED Mask. Millernsha (talk) 19:10, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I recommend you create your draft at Draft:LED mask. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:16, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
