Things to add to the lead[edit]

The lead for this article is a little bit short compared to other articles with similar subjects. I am going to try and add a little bit more information and a short summary of the tale like the Puss in Boots page has so anyone coming to the article for a quick read won't have to read the whole plot summary listed later. --MilliGrams (talk) 23:05, 26 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sources section and Variants section[edit]

The "Variants" section has some information that is repeated from the "Sources" section. I suggest we consolidate the information into one paragraph. Also, there is some information that seems to cross between these two sections, so I am going to play with some new ways of organizing this information so that all of the connected information is together within the article. --MilliGrams (talk) 02:45, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Plot Section[edit]

I added the general plot section in order to try and keep from giving one person's version of the story too much weight and to allow people who just want a general overview of the story an easy place to find that without having to read the specifics of each different variant of the folktale. Since I added the plot section, it seemed a bit excessive to have the specific plots for both Basile and Perrault, so I tried to shrink them down a little. Hopefully this will also add some more room for the general history of these versions like we have in the Grimm Brothers' Version section. --MilliGrams (talk) 17:39, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
