Pravat Rout (born 2 August 1985) is an Indian film director in Hindi Cinema and author of books published at Amazon. He was born in Cuttack, Odisha.He has worked in several tv shows,movies and known for a film Prarabdh(the incarnation) written and directed by him based on bhagvad gita saar.He is also now an author of 4books published.
He started his career as an assistant director in tv shows, later he joined Endemol Shine Group as a Official Casting Director where he casted varius tv shows and films with Endemol after working a long with endemol finally he made his directorial debut with a movie based on Gita Saar "Prarabdh".
Early life[edit]
Pravat Rout was born in Cuttack, Odisha. He grew up in Bhubaneswar, did his schooling & completed his degree from there and came to Mumbai in 2010 for a career in Hindi film industry.He studied from ICSE school at Bhubaneswar and completed his degree from C. V. Raman Global University When he completed his degree he started his career working for IBM India New Delhi after one year in job at IBM he headed towards Mumbai as he always want to be a part of Hindi Cinema

Rout started as an assistant director on tv shows then he did casting at various tv shows,films & directed Prarabdh, a web-series based on a spiritual subject. He has also helmed the story and screenwriting of Prarabdh and it got released on 1 March 2019 [1] He started his career as a film maker & also pursued his passion in writing.He is author of 4 books published and available at Amazon, Additionally directed a movie Prarabdh, He has worked in many movies and television shows like the test case on Alt Balaji , movies like rakkhosh on Netflix and various other tv shows like Crime Patrol on Sony Tv, Emotional Atyachar on Bindass , Savdhan India on Life Ok and may others.
