Question re: new article live or not?[edit]

I'm a little confused as to whether or not the article I created, Gilded Age Plains City, is live or not. I thought I made it live, but it does not appear in the search results, even when I search specifically for it. I have been working hard on this article since October and think it really needs to be live now. I initially created it with the draft function, rather than going live immediately, but I have to say I think creating an article is extremely tedious using the draft function. Several other wikipedia users have recommended that I just cut and paste it as a live article, but I would rather see the draft process through (although honestly I don't think I will EVER use the draft function again). Any assistance would be appreciated. I have read the help pages, by the way so no need to send me off there. Again, the article is called Gilded Age Plains City. The article looks pretty good. However, the article is part of your userspace, which means that it is a subpage of your userpage. That may sounds confusing, so I'll try to elaborate: a subpage, simply, is a page separated from its parent page (in this case, your userpage) by a "/". Second, all edits to a Wikipedia page, whether they be an article or talk page, a userpage or subpage, or any of the other types of Wikipedia pages (there are twenty), are considered "live". Therefore, the article is technically "live". Third, to create the article in the articlespace, just click on this redlink Gilded Age Plains City, then simply copy-and-paste the article in your userspace onto the page that comes up. Easy enough, I hope! If you have any more questions, just drop me a line. I'll also do some minor work on the article when I get the chance. Happy editing!
