Headings

[edit]

Hello, MinTrouble. In a recent edit to Linguistic insecurity you added a MOS:PSEUDOHEAD. That is, you used boldface markup to give the appearance of a heading, rather than equals signs (==Like this==) to create actual headings. This can cause problems for screen readers, and is discouraged by the Manual of Style.

I removed the pseudohead and made some other changes to your text. You may want to look at it to make sure I didn't misunderstand what you wrote. Happy editing, Cnilep (talk) 03:29, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Cnilep. I appreciate your help. Peace. MinTrouble (talk) 17:33, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Hi MinTrouble! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Josef Matthias Hauer that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. CurryTime7-24 (talk) 06:39, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Manfred Bierwisch, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Berlin Academy of Sciences. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
