Your comments on the A Course in Miracles article[edit]

Hi Mindawiki,

Your comments at Talk:A Course in Miracles are welcome and refreshing. I also think they are correct. My suggestion would simply be to carry them out. The article has a history of edit wars though, particularly between those like yourself who wish most to convey correct and useful information, and those who wish most to maintain the quality of wikipedia through strict adherence to its policies and guidelines (established conventions and controls for a variety of an article's aspects). So be careful. Definately the best way to get rid of flat-out wrong, yet cited, material would be to try to demote the author's credibility (like you did), especially if you can find counter-information from a more reputable secondary source. The utility of quoting primary text is limited in this article though, because so much as proceding to comment on the quoted text becomes borderline original research - a no-no, at least on this article, as policy takes precedent in case of conflict.

Happy editing, Antireconciler talk 23:21, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

One more thing: never become discouraged by anyone else's unwillingness to think. It is perhaps an uncomfortable feeling for some to feel themselves thinking critically. Antireconciler talk 07:58, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the encouragement, Antireconciler. I will be about changing as I suggested it. Thanks. --Mindawiki 21:37, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
