Aled Jones[edit]

Thank you for your message. I appreciate what you were trying to do, and the section you certainly addresses something that was missing from the article, but the way it was phrased was problematic.

  • "numerous" - this implies that it's a lot. But how many exactly is it? 5? 50? 500? It doesn't really tell the reader anything other than the opinion of the editor that wrote it.
  • "all TV channels" - Really? Every single one? Sounds unlikely, so what channels? The first 5? Every satellite channel on Sky?

I know Jones makes frequent TV appearances, but perhaps you could convey this differently? Wikipedia doesn't really care for lists of trivia, so perhaps something along the lines of "Jones frequently features on other programmes on the main TV channels, such as the Alan Titchmarsh Show on ITV, and Never Mind the Buzzcocks on BBC2, either as a musical performer or simply a guest."

As ever, cites to back this up help greatly. Not necessarily on each individual appearance, but on his TV career in general where it mentions his varied appearances.

Hope this helps --Escape Orbit (Talk) 22:14, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
