Please provide a link to where you got the base image (the shack and sea) from. Daniel 02:32, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, don't worry - I've found it. You cannot release an image under a free license that you have derived from something copyrighted. DarkFalls (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) has deleted the image as a copyright violation. Daniel 02:33, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:AdamCanfieldOfTheSlashBookCover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. http://www.fotosearch.com/comp/phd/PHD255/OS36030.jpg -> image:PeanutButterJellySandwhich.jpg. Image deleted as a copyright violation. Please stop uploading modified pictures and claiming copyright on them. It doesn't work that way. ~Kylu (u|t) 02:36, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Same with http://images.neopets.com/items/jel_cheese.gif -> image:GreenCheeseDrawing.gif. ~Kylu (u|t) 02:37, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Per our guideline for the use of non-free media, I have removed some images from your userpage. Daniel 02:44, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there[edit]

I'm sorry to inform you that I've deleted the Tiki Hut Book Club page. Projects like this are generally regarded as a waste of time and distract from the actual encyclopedia at hand. I know you are fairly new, so please read the links that Timothy has provided above, and I'm sure you'll find something to do that is both productive and enjoyable for you. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions. Best, ~ Riana 03:16, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
