Lost[edit]

Hi there,

please advise how do I add an article for the company I work for? The company was recently bought by WPP and I would like to publish an article here. I am very lost and confused. Not too sure what to do. If you are not sure if I am for real, please view the WPP Group website: http://www.wpp.com/WPP/Companies/OfficeDetail.htm?id=5203

Thanks so much! Sorry for any inconvenience. I am not deliberatly trying to advertise or anything..

Sorry once again, but I am really lost.

  • You should read the guidelines at WP:ORG, WP:ADVERT, WP:COI and WP:Business' FAQ. Articles not complying with these guidelines are likely to be deleted. The underlying theme is that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising medium or a business directory, and that you should not be writing about your own business. A tag has been placed on AGENDA, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JohnCD (talk) 11:54, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:OliverJames.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:OliverJames.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Closedmouth (talk) 08:28, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
