This is an encyclopedia - think of it as an online World Book Encyclopedia. Please read WP:BLP and use that as your guide for editing biographies. Proposed deletion of Baba Zumbi

The article Baba Zumbi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While a member of a notable group, it's not clearly demonstrated that Zumbi is notable outside of the group. All of the recently-added references are either dead links or to self-published sources, so verification is also an issue.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. question about becoming admin

People become admins by making positive edits to Wikipedia. People who add nonsense articles to Wikipedia like the Kip Maynard article get blocked. AlistairMcMillan (talk) 22:42, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
