Hello, Matthew, my name is Dmitri. I just wanted to say that I didn't wrote this article, I only updated an outdated skeletal formula with the new and beautiful one. I am 5th grade medical student and I simply like to draw 2D structures of various compounds, especially psychotropic drugs. But nevertheless, I am very interested in psychiatry, mostly in psychopharmacology, and if I have an opportunity, I would like to investigate a problem of weight gain in patients treated with diabetogenic atypical antipsychotics (like clozapine and olanzapine). Also I'm very interested in treatment-resistant depression. So, I'm very sorry to disappoint you. But I wish you great success in your PhD work and associated investigations. Would be amazing if you keep in touch with me. Cheers! :3 Vaccinationist (talk) 16:21, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Naproxen, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Information icon Hello, I'm JNW. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Hi Mjlphd, since you've several times restored a link to a blog--presumably your own--that was deleted per WP:EL, perhaps you could help to establish the blog's credibility as a WP:RELIABLE source. Has it been cited by scholarly journals or experts in the field? The concerns here are WP:COI and WP:NOR. Thank you, JNW (talk) 08:51, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Matthew, thanks for trying to help, but your repeated addition of that blog is becoming disruptive and may soon lead to loss of editing privileges. We only accept links to blogs of well-established scientists whose name speak for themselves. Further, wikipedia is neither a links collection nor a venue for promoting personal pages (helpful or not). There is nothing personal here, just our guidelines. Materialscientist (talk) 09:28, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Matthew, I am a guardian, and will revoke your editing access merely for violation of our policies, with no hard feelings. It does not matter what I know in organic chemistry - I actually know what enantiomeric purity means, but you have no way to verify that, and you don't need to. Please stay in peace with wikipedians. Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. JNW (talk) 09:42, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Kindly advice

[edit]

As an academic that found this place a challenge to navigate, early, and who still finds it aggravatingly non-academic vis-a-vis its priorities, I sympathize with the early challenges you faced. If I can be of any assistance in helping you se changes made that you think are important, feel free and reply here, and I will see it. You can go to my User page—ungray the page by clicking on the Edit tab to read—to see who I am. Also, mjl, never, and I mean never, post your email address as you did. Go to the Help pages to see how to allow others to email you. Cheers, best wishes. Le Prof Leprof 7272 (talk) 19:19, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Important ongoing discussion

[edit]

…concerning the future direction of the Natural Products article, see its "Class" section and beyond. It is in a current sorry state, and avoided for its current structure and constraints. See developing discussion at [1]. Perhaps you have a view to express. Le Prof Leprof 7272 (talk) 18:30, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
