Peer Review[edit]

Hi Megan,

Below are my responses for the peer review:

1. Well, the article provides readers with factual information about Kathy Ferguson. It begins with a brief history of educational pursuits to what their current status. Furthermore, readers are provided with the articles that Ferguson has written. In addition, we see some courses that Ferguson has taught at Universities. The article has subtitles to help the reader infer what the topics will be about. Also, I liked that there was additional information regarding her involvement with other organizations.

2. In terms of suggestions, I think that by explaining what her work/articles mainly talk about or target will give readers more of an idea of what Ferguson stands for. I think it's great that the articles/research titles are posted, but a small summary of what each article/research paper is about will educate the readers regarding what kind of issues are important to Ferguson. In terms of sources, I do see that there are two present and are linked to other educational sites. I think that this post remains neutral in giving factual information about the author.

3. I think that by adding some more factual information about the topics/ideas of the research Ferguson has done will illustrate to the readers what kind of author they are, what they stand for, and what issues are most important for them. Furthermore, we are able to see what strand of feminism Ferguson stands by.

4. There is not too much similarity in regards to my article and this one because mine is focusing around a concept, while this piece is focusing on an author. I appreciated that this article talked about an important feminist educator because we need to acknowledge the author's work and dedication to the field!
