Gevalia

Hi Mmccalpin, in response to your message on my talk page, my reference to POV was in this section:

"Although a mainstream supermarket brand in Europe, Gevalia attempts to market itelf in the United States an ultra-premium brand despite its almost exclusive use of unsolicited bulk e-mail and Web page banner ads."

I don't know about you, but "attempts to market itself ... despite" strikes me as pretty POV. Good luck with improving the article; I have little knowledge of the subject myself, I was just on recent changes patrol and that section caught my attention. Despite much research I could not find any sources that agreed, nor any sources that could confirm a topspeed of the previously cited 50mph. Date for the Wreck of HMS Pomone (1805) in the HMS Pomone (1811) article

Hi, the entry in Colledge gives the fate of the ship as "Wrecked 14.1.1811 The Needles". However, given the other sources you have found, I think it is a misprint for 14.10.1811. Date for gun install photo

You raise an excellent point! The caption comes from http://navweaps.com/Weapons/WNUS_12-45_mk5_pics.htm, which is the source of a lot of the information given for the article, and reads "USS Connecticut B-18 getting one of her bow 12"/45 (30.5 cm) guns installed on 31 January 1908 at the New York Navy Yard." As you point out, however, that would have been impossible, as the Connecticut would have been somewhere near Chile on that date. For my own sake, I have to point out that I looked back at my edit log and am glad to say that I didn't write in that error, it was added by someone else. Still, thanks for bringing it to my attention, and I've already changed it to read "c.1907." Thanks! Jrt989 (talk) 16:55, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Unsourced for 10 years. Searching for the term only finds a few equipment manuals for this type of equipment, nothing that indicates it actually meets WP:GNG.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
