Notification of special editing rules relating to abortion[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in abortion. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Because you have shown interest in a highly controversial area of Wikipedia, please carefully ensure that you are following all editing rules. Reach out to Shalor (Wiki Ed) or your instructor if you run into any problems. Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 22:01, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review- Rachel Lane[edit]

I thought your paragraph was written really well! In the original article the section about Judaism and abortion is only two sentences so adding more information to that part was a great idea. Also I thought what you wrote sounded really factual and knowledgable! Also your source looks really reliable. Also it looks like you're about to add a section about Islam and abortion which is smart because it's another major world religion for that section

Thank you so much for the feedback! I am working on adding a section about Islam, also work on making some other sections have a bit more information. Mmurray930 (talk) 19:48, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

History of abortion[edit]

Just a heads-up: the paragraph you recently added to History of abortion was removed in this edit. The reverting editor summarized their reason as, "The edit misrepresents what's in Schiff's book and in other sources (Feldman, Margolies, RIddle)." If you want to discuss the content of the paragraph you wish to add to the article, please do so at the article talk page: Talk:History of abortion by raising a new discussion section at the bottom of the page.

If you have general questions about editing Wikipedia, see the links in the Welcome message above, and feel free to ask me, or your Wiki Ed content expert User:Shalor (Wiki Ed). You can also get help by asking a question here on your Talk page, and adding {{Help me}} to the message. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 20:50, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please do not add anything until I've had a chance to review it. Also, since the abortion articles are quite controversial as a whole I would not post anything live until it's been reviewed and a consensus has been reached on the article's talk page.
