April 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop. Consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Rjd0060 (talk) 15:53, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. -- Mentifisto 20:48, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I spoke to this person on the phone, she was not aware that her reverts were reinserting bad links on the school page, as she was not the person who inserted them in the first place. I could unblock myself, but I wanted the community to be aware of the situation, as things are not always as obvious as they appear. Bastique demandez

Decline reason:

Thanks for the note, Bastique. I agree those profane links were probably added accidentally. However, the other edits that were Mocdlondon's idea were to effectively replace an encycloepdia article's content with promotional material written from a 1st person perspective, probably copyrighted, which makes me concerned enough that I don't feel comfortable unblockint without at least hearing from the user. Mocdlondon: please don't be afraid to post an unblock request yourself; all you have to do is copy this text: {{unblock|your reason here}}, and add it to the bottom of this page, which you can still edit even while blocked. This block is indefinite but not permanent; see the guide to appealing blocks for an idea of what we're looking for. Mangojuicetalk 19:19, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I have unblocked this account as the links that were included in the article were not originally placed there by the account User:Mocdlondon. They were initially removed when bjweeks reverted the article to an earlier copy. When mocdlondon then reverted bjweeks this reincluded the original links that were in place before this account edited the article. These were then picked up by Huggle as being vandalism. This account was then warned only once before being blocked for a mistake that could have been easily made by any editor. Seddσn talk 19:58, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
