Genres[edit]

Stop changing film and music genres without discussion. It is clear that your intention is disruption. It is also clear that this is a sockpuppet of Awesomerperson97. Further disruption will result in blocking. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 16:53, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am not trying to vandalize any articles. I truly believe that the genres I have changed is because I feel the ones used before are not the correct genres. For instance, everybody refers to Rear Window as a mystery film. It even says in a wikipedia article that lists the films considered the best in it's genre that Rear Window is in the mystery category. And with Rock Star, the movie is in a collection of romantic comedies so I always thought of Rock Star as a romantic comedy. It says on wikipedia that is a comedy-drama so I change it to romantic comedy because I have believed that was the truth for a long time. I am not trying to disrupt anything. ---ModerateTy 12:05, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am making no judgement on whether or not you are right. You might be, but mass-changing of information in articles without discussion (and continuing the same kind of edits even after you were reverted) is seen as disruptive. (Information included in articles needs to be verifiable using reliable sources.) So please don't continue unilaterally making this kind of edits, even if you believe that you are right; instead, discuss the changes on the appropriate talk page. (You can also ask for help by adding {{helpme}} to your talk page, or at editor assistance. In case of a dispute, various procedures of dispute resolution are available.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 23:16, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:29, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
