Ananya Ata Igala Royal Family[edit]

The linkages of Ananya Ata with Aju Akumabi is a very simple one to decipher. In the Attahship of Igala kingdom, after Attah Ayegba Omaidoko, Attah Akumabi was number two (2) Attah Igala. Ameh and Itodo are the two sons of Akumabi

At the turn of the next Attah Igala, Itodo Aduga became an Attah, instead of Ameh the senior brother. This gave rise to Ananya Attah  chieftaincy such that the Royal Horse be ridden to the palace by Ameh the senior brother of Itodo. Aduga is the nickname to both Ameh and Itodo. Hence you hear of Itodo Aduga and Ameh Aduga who are sons of Akumabi Ameh Achor , Itodo Aduga and Ameh Aduga have the same parents of AjuAkwu. Anu Igalaogba descendants of Pharaoh[edit]

Onu Egume is greeted Anu just like Achadu Oko Attah. This is because both of them are descedants of Pharaoh Anu of the 8th dynasty. They were popularly called Anu people in Egypt but now of Igalogba clan of Idah. In those days, both Attah and Achadu Oko Attah were wearing similar crown of Pharaoh because both are descedants of Pharaohs. But while Ata takes the title after Pharaoh Ata of the first dynasty, Igalogba people took the salutation after their ancestor, Anu. Anu means "the representative of the sky God", while Ata means the great one, father and elder. Both are ancient Egypt words. Onu Egume, Anu, Anu.
