Re: Balkhash Lake

[edit]

I have just translated your Russian version, which basically provided high quality material (some links expired though, and thus some interesting facts are not really supported). I could do similar things with other Russian articles too. Uspehov. Materialscientist (talk) 08:35, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Expired links fixing proved to be a time consuming problem so I thought of rechecking them once a year or so.) Case you might be interested - another article I've spent some time on is ru:Карибское море. Вам также успехов.) --Monfornot (talk) 22:13, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
While its still in memory, I couldn't recover the link for history of Balkhash fleet (not crucial though). ru:Карибское море is nice. I try to pass articles through WP:DYK - this adds quality check which I can't provide in some areas. 5x expansion of the corresponding en.wiki article is difficult, but I'll see what I can do anyway. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
