Speedy deletion nomination of Swalpa - Customized Short URL[edit]

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Swalpa - Customized Short URL for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

I'm not sure if you read the message before the page was deleted; I posted a response to your argument that the page should be kept because it "contains useful information for social media users." Basically, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, nor is it a means of promotion. Just because an article (that looks very much like an ad) contains useful information is not a reason to bypass Wikipedia's inclusion criteria. --Richard Yin (talk) 14:16, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
