Please cite your edits to goldfish articles

[edit]

You made changes to Wakin goldfish and Jikin goldfish that require citations to reliable sources. Please add your sources, or your changes will continue to be reverted. If you need help figuring out how to cite things, feel free to ask me here or on my talk page. I'll try to get back to you tonight. --HighFlyingFish (talk) 17:29, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

To add a citation, click on the place you want the citation to be in the article (after the info you added). Click on the "Cite" tab above the article text in your edit window. There click the "Templates" drop down menu. If your source is a website, click "Cite Web". Put in the URL in the "URL" field and click the Magnifying Glass icon. It will auto-fill the other fields for you. Check the other fields and fix any errors the website made. Then click Insert. For journal articles, its the same, except you use the "cite journal" template and input a doi. For books, you use the Cite Book template and input an ISBN. If you can't find the DOI/ISBN of your source, just fill out the fields in the template manually. Feel free to ask me, or at the WP:Help Desk if you have more specific questions. --HighFlyingFish (talk) 02:34, 25 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I have reverted both edits. Cite your sources, or you will continue to be reverted. If you need help citing, please seek it out. Even just pasting in a url is better than nothing. --HighFlyingFish (talk) 02:48, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I restored your edit to Jikin goldfish. Its visible again, and attached to the reference. The wording of the section needs improvement, as its hard to understand in English. If you could find someone who knows both the language the reference is in (Japanese?), and English, that would be really great. But for now, the section is back. --HighFlyingFish (talk) 06:54, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

About the edit to shubunkin page

[edit]

Hello. Sorry for interrupting, but could you check the talk page of shubunkin? Maybe you didn't notice because I forgot to mention that at histry page. I wrote there the reason why I remove one sentence.--Mechamocha (talk) 23:34, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello I'm user:Mechamocha. If my last edit has problem, please leave your opinion on Talk:Shubunkin#Bristol Shubunkin in Japan. Mechamocha (talk) 07:36, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
