Hogenakalu Falls[edit]

Greetings. I noticed that you recently made an apparent cut&paste copy of the Falls in Karnataka article into a new article that you eventually moved to Hogenakalu Falls. Except for spelling, the pages appear identical. Typically, we do not duplicate articles in Wikipedia and use redirects to link different article names to the same article. Note that you have also duplicated the article content in the talk page. Could you explain your reasons for making the copy as you did? Thank you. -- Tom N (tcncv) talk/contrib 03:17, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FYI - I have restore the original article to its original name and have replaced other article names with redirects. Note that some of the edits that you made to the second copy of that article are not present in the original, but can be viewed here. However, the article recognizes "Hogenakal" as an alternate spelling of "Hogenakkal", so I would suggest discussing any spelling changes on the article's talk page before making any global spelling changes. In particular, be aware that changing the spelling of external links will break those links.
Also, please note that preserving article history is important in Wikipedia, so cut&paste should not be used to make a copy of an article (or to implement a move). If you have any questions, you can drop me a note on my talk page.

Please refrain from making nonconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Hogenakkal Falls. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. what you actually want with the article ??....can u prove atleast a single citation / proof / source tht supports your point , kindly stop sending me e-mail's & start to discuss the article & only after reaching a consensus u may redirect nor completely change the article's tone .....now what you are doing is an absolute vandalism .
