Information icon Hello, I'm Asartea. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Social media as a news source have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Asartea Trick | Treat 06:52, 24 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Asartea: Hi, Asartea. I saw you undid the removal of a section and the addition of a section. For the removal of "social media as communication": I believe it is off-topic for this article. This current article is about social media as news. Instead, "Social media as communication" is a broad overview that seems better in the social media general page, which provides extensive background on the topic. For the addition of "Effects on individual and collective memory," this is a subheading from the very long "social media" article, which is too long according to Wikipedia standards. I was attempting to move it to this page with the hopes I could simply summarize it in the existing article for social media so that that whole page can be a bit shorter. Let me know how you want to proceed. Moofinberry (talk) 07:16, 24 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Asartea: Hi again! I'm just following up on this. I added the proposed edits in the talk page, but the page doesn't appear to be very active. What would you suggest? Thanks! Moofinberry (talk) 08:38, 31 October 2020 (UTC) Moofinberry[reply]
