Hi, I'm new to WikiPedia. Can you help me out by teaching me how to edit?

Welcome[edit]

Hello, Moseyman! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. You may benefit from following some of the links below, which will help you get the most out of Wikipedia. If you have any questions you can ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking or by typing four tildes "~~~~"; this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you are already loving Wikipedia you might want to consider being "adopted" by a more experienced editor or joining a WikiProject to collaborate with others in creating and improving articles of your interest. Click here for a directory of all the WikiProjects. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field when making edits to pages. Happy editing! Stubbing[edit]

Please don't waste people's time by adding {{stub}} to an article like Palpan-dong which already has a subject-specific stub tag.

And if you are adding a stub tag, remember it should go at the end of the article, after everything except inter-wiki links, and not at the top as you put this one. See WP:LAYOUT. Thanks, and happy editing! PamD (talk) 09:49, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Moseyman, I have reverted your spelling changes -specifically 'colour' --> 'color' - in the above article. I realise you're a new editor so i'm not sure you're aware that both U.S. and U.K./Commonwealth spellings are equally acceptable on Wikipedia. Although the article doesn't have a specific U.K. or Commonwealth focus, the spelling 'colour' was first used in the article in 2005 in this diff. I respectfully refer you to WP:RETAIN, the relevant policy guideline. Thanks and happy editing, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 21:46, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Moseyman. You have new messages at Baffle gab1978's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
  • Don't worry about giving me a warning about that edit of mine on the Star Trek image. Its a minor thing anyway about that picture narrative and I take (ie. accept) your point well. Please concentrate on other users who deliberately vandalise wikipedia pages. Those are serious problems. With kind Regards from Canada, --Leoboudv (talk) 07:02, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:08, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
