2005 demographis in state articles[edit]

I see you are updating population figures to 2005 in a lot of US state articles. It would be nice if you also supplied citations per Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Citing sources. -- Dalbury(Talk) 11:47, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm also trying to find a reference for the 2005 figures in the Illinois article. I'd appreciate it if you could add the citation to the demographics section, it would save me the time to track it down. A recent peer review requested that the information be cited. Thanks, --Dual Freq 17:30, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to be able to tame this beast. Why is it so difficult to edit... simple edits cause double srike words. - UtherSRG (talk) 04:31, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the edit. However, you undid some of my changes. I had updated times to reflect th ones listed on the various articles the chart refers to. - UtherSRG (talk) 14:35, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I looked at each article and verified the periods according what the articles indicated. If you find something that doesn't match then just indicate in your edit summary which article you are looking at. —Mike 23:33, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

List of Kansas County Seats[edit]

I have been working modestly on several of the lists of county seats to try to give them a more consistent appearance. I note that you have redirected a list of Kansas county seats into this slot. While it contains the basic data on county seats, it is not consistent with the other sheets in this series, simply because of the format. Would you have any objections if I were to create a new sheet for this series, and break the redirect link you have set up? What I would do is simply rearrange the data so that the layout is consistent with the layout for other states in this series. I'm new to Wikipedia, and want to be sure I don't offend any sensibilities by changing something that someone had a good reason for doing, so wanted to check with you before making such a change. Same topic. I just noticed that there are now two redundant pages: List of county seats in Kansas (that you created) and List of Kansas county seats. The latter seems to comply with the language and layout standard for similar pages on wikipedia. It is unfortunate because you created a nicely-formatted page, but I think your page should become a redirect to the other. Please comment on the discussion page on List of county seats in Kansas. Proterozoic Template[edit]

Hello - looks like you created the Proterozoic template, very nice, but I was wondering if it would be possible to invert it so that the oldest part of the section is at the bottom? That is standard practice in geology and is more common in these charts, since it allows the visualization of the "lower" and "upper" parts of the column. I would do it but I don't think I'm smart enough with the syntax in these templates. If you have time, thanks in advance. Cheers--Geologyguy 18:29, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

KC Royals[edit]

Well, I was actually thinking about typing that in the Edit Summary! As a fan, I always have hope. There's always next year! --Moonraker0022 03:55, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Countryside, Kansas[edit]

I don't feel especially strongly about this, but I'm not so sure that the category Category:Unincorporated communities in Kansas is apropriate for the former city of Countryside, Kansas. The area is now part of the incorporated municipality of Mission, Kansas. The terminology of unincorporated (as far as I can parse it) follows from U.S. Census analysis and definitions, in which any place that is within an incorporated municipality (as defined by the Census Bureau) is not unincorporated. It might be worth creating a category for Kanasa similar to Category:Defunct cities in Michigan (although I'm almost inclined to rename that category as "Former cities in Michigan"). Cheers. olderwiser 23:49, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Put it where you think best. It just needed to be removed from the "cities" category, and I wasn't going to leave it uncategorized. —Mike 06:04, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Copyright problems with Image:Buck2006.jpg[edit]

What's the problem the info is all there. – Alakey2010 09 October 2006, 03:59 p.m., (CDT)

I followed your request from August 2005 (ouch) at de:Diskussion:A1 (Schweiz) and translated parts (including infobox) of the Autobahn article to English. Now it needs some language fixing by a native speaker. --32X 17:27, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Geotimeboxes[edit]

I thought that you might be interested that AMK152 proposed, in a series of edits on 27 December 2006, a geotimebox for various articles dealing with the Geologic time scale. For example: AMK152's edit of Hadean looked like this. See discussion at Template talk:Geotimebox. --Bejnar 20:44, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
