Purdah (film)[edit]

Hi, saw your post on the WikiProject Film talk page. Ive looked at the draft and believe the subject is notable but it needs some work before going to mainspace. Hi! Thanks so much for your response Atlantic306! What work do you think should be done on the draft? I appreciate your help. I'm an actor/writer in the low budget indie film world and was hoping to put up some indie films that I thought were worthy that I'd seen in festivals and such. I don't have any connection with the film other than I saw it at a festival and followed it after that. I thought, perhaps naively haha, that I could easily emulate some other existing articles to make a quick article for the film, but as some others have pointed out, just because the articles are up does not mean that they are fully approved. Now I've sunk several hours into creating the page, so I appreciate any help or tips you can give. MovieDude2019 (talk) 16:17, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for clarifying that. Basically there needs to be a critical reception section with summaries of reviews from WP:reliable sources. Looking at the reviews mentioned in the article the ones that are considered reliable by Wikipedia are Film Threat and Phantom Tollbooth. If you find anymore please run them by me. So if you could separately summarise each of those two reviews by mentioning what it praised, what it criticized and add a short quote. Each review should be referenced. Also, the article needs trimming by removing the further reading section, and reducing the accolades section to just awards actually won.
